Kangaroo Group Event “Supporting an EU Competitive Clearing Mandate”

Prof. Danuta Huebner will participate to the Kangaroo Group Event on “Supporting an  EU Competitive Clearing Mandate”. The event will focus on the current issues and the future of the EU Clearing framework, ahead of the upcoming Commission’s proposal for a review of the European Market Infrastructures Regulation (EMIR). In her remarks, she will focus on the key challenges of the current framework, and what measures can be taken to increase the attractiveness of European central counterparty clearing houses (CCPs) and to strengthen the supervision of clearing activities.

ECON Committee meeting, Economic Dialogue and exchange of views with Paschal Donohoe, Minister for Finance of Ireland

Prof. Danuta Huebner will participate to the meeting of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) of the European Parliament, when the honourable Members of the European Parliament (MEP) will hold their regular Economic Dialogue and exchange of views with Pascal Donohoe, Minister for Finance of Ireland and President of the Eurogroup. In her remarks, she will focus on the recent developments and future plans for the completion of the Banking Union in the euro area, as well as broader issues related to the euro area banking system and economic situation.
