QED Hybrid Conference on Consolidated Tape
Prof. Danuta Huebner will participate to the QED Hybrid Conference on Consolidated Tape as the European Parliament’s Rapporteur for the Market in Financial Instruments Directive and Regulation (MiFID II /R) proposals. In her remarks, she will focus on the key elements of the Commission proposal of introducing a consolidated tape (CT) for European markets across the different asset classes. The CT aims to bring more transparency in the market and offer a less fragmented picture to the investors, and it is one of the central elements of the review proposed by the Commission. Professor Huebner will outline her view on the CT, as well as how this element fits into the wider project of a Capital Market Union (CMU).
