ECON public hearing on energy derivatives markets

The members of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) of will hold a public hearing on “Energy derivatives markets, oversight challenges related to market integrity and financial stability risks”. In a follow-up to the first public hearing on this matter that took place last year, Professor Huebner and the other Members of the ECON Committee will exchange views with public authorities  and industry representatives on the current situation regarding the energy derivatives markets and potential actions needed at Union level to contain financial stability risks.
