Presentation on the priorities of the French Presidency in the area of International Trade Policy
Prof. Danuta Hübner will question Mr Franck Riester, French Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness on the French Presidency’s trade priorities. Her intervention will be centred around investment policy, in preparation for the upcoming Parliament own-initiative report on the future of EU investment policy.

AFCO Committee Meeting
The next AFCO meeting will start with the election of the Chair and Vice-Chairs of the Committee. After that the members will vote on the Regulation reforming the European Parliament’s electoral arrangements, which has been under negotiation for several months. Prof. Hübner chaired the reform during the previous parliamentary term. MEPs will also discuss a proposal to set up an EU anti-money laundering authority and hear a presentation on the French Presidency by the French Secretary of State for European Affairs, Clement Beaune.
