  • AFCO Committee meeting

At Tuesday’s meeting of the Constitutional Affairs Committee (AFCO), Professor Danuta Hübner will present her draft report, which aims to assess the implementation of Article 50 TEU that governs the exit of a Member State from the Union. The report includes conclusions and recommendations based on the Brexit experience. In addition, the agenda also includes debates on European electoral law, European political parties and the role of European Parliament in the Conference on the Future of Europe.

  • Conference on the Future of Europe – inaugural Plenary session

The first plenary session of the Conference on the Future of Europe will take place in Strasbourg. MEPs, members of national and regional parliaments, as well as citizens and civil society representatives will come together to debate the changes needed in the European Union. The Conference schedule will include: European citizens’ panels, national panels, numerous events and thematic groups as well as Plenary sessions. The Multilingual Digital Platform will also be presented – a new tool to enable everyone to have a real say in the future shape of the EU. Prof. Danuta Hübner and Radosław Sikorski will attend the inaugural plenary session as elected representatives of the European Parliament.
